Extenders are small auxiliary lenses that can quickly convert the focal lengths of your interchangeable lenses by mounting them between a primary lens attached and the camera body via the lens mount.
It fits all Canon FD mount camera bodies.
*From Canon: The Canon Extender FD 2x-A is an FD lens accessory designed to extend the specified lens focal length to two times the original length. It can be used with any FD telephoto lens with a focal length between 100mm and 800mm and any FD zoom lens with 100mm within its range. With a full-aperture metering Canon SLR, all the FD mount signals are transmitted to the camera body for full-aperture metering and fully automatic diaphragm coupling. AE photography with an AE camera is also possible. The lens-extender combination, besides being generally lighter and more maneuverable than a regular lens of the same total focal length, also has the advantage that the closest shooting distance of the prime lens remains the same. Therefore, closer shooting distances and correspondingly higher magnifications are possible with the extender than with a regular lens of double the focal length of the lens in use.

Will my purchase arrive well packaged?

Always! Carol and I take great care (and pride) in packaging your purchase. We are mindful of being "green" but often times green doesn't protect your package properly. We have been shipping items safely since 2003. We must say, however, that we are not responsible for mishandling by the carrier(s) or loss of an item. Most items and especially valuable items will always have insurance added.
