I have one of my favorite 35mm rangefinder cameras from my collection available for purchase.
The Olympus-35 SP is legendary in its performance and reputation. Mine is a gem.
The G. Zuiko f/1.7 42mm lens is as sharp as they come. It features 7 elements in 5 groups.

The Olympus-35 SP is a fully automatic exposure camera (EE). When set on auto, compose and focus on your subject, letting the camera select the proper shutter and aperture settings. It's the first rangefinder to have a spot meter for tricky backlighted subjects.
It's also fully manual. The built-in viewfinder exposure meter lets you select the proper shutter and aperture combination, then focus and shoot.

*The lens looks clear to the naked eye, but I see splotchy mold spots under a bright LED on one or more internal lens elements. A few specs of dust are also present, but that's expected in a classic camera. The dust does not affect the final images. My results with the lens have been exceptional in the past.
The viewfinder is bright and clear, and the rangefinder patch is easy to see, making focusing easy.
*If I'm being picky, the only detracting mark is around the tripod socket, where I see some scratches in the chrome (see pic 6). I also see a slight depression on the right side of the top plate (see pic 10).
This is my camera from my collection, and I've thoroughly tested it without shooting film recently. The meter works, all levers, knobs, and latches work as designed—the shutter sounds accurate, even the slow speeds and Bulb.

I hate to see it go, but since I'm downsizing my collection, it is time to pass it to another collector.
The brochure is a rare item. I purchased it in Japan when I got the camera. I haven't seen another anywhere recently. It's in full color, with a 4-page fold-out. Printed in Japanese.

Will my purchase arrive well packaged?

Always! Carol and I take great care (and pride) in packaging your purchase. We are mindful of being "green" but often times green doesn't protect your package properly. We have been shipping items safely since 2003. We must say, however, that we are not responsible for mishandling by the carrier(s) or loss of an item. Most items and especially valuable items will always have insurance added.
